Meizon
Named after the Greek word for “The Greater One,” the Meizon is a larger evolution of the Impaler design, originally requested by Matt Pranka of Xray Alpha. His request was simple: build a bigger Impaler that fit “man hands and has enough room to get through jackets and thick clothing." So we did.
The Meizon features a 5.25" CPM 154-CM blade with a stonewashed finish and black G10 Amerigrip handle scales. The handle geometry was built around hard use, positive indexing, and multiple grip orientations. Jimping is strategically placed at key contact points for both standard and reverse grip use, whether indexing with the pinky or index finger.
A larger dual-direction whale tail pommel improves retention, draw mechanics, and overall grip security. The flats between the handle scallops help reduce hot spots during belt or vest carry while also allowing better integration with pistol work and kit placement.
Each Meizon ships with a PragmaTac large belt sheath, featuring an ambidextrous design and our patent-pending magnetic retention technology.
The Meizon was designed to ride on kit, specifically in the space between the front plate bag and cummerbund closure, giving the user access to a support-hand or dominant-hand tertiary blade option when needed.
